Five Guys Burgers & Fries finally makes their northwest debut with their store in Beaverton, opening Monday October 20th at 11am. The chain is similar to In-N-Out Burger and Washington state’s Dick’s Drive In. Five Guys sells burgers, fries and hot dogs. That’s it. We had the chance to try it out on a visit to Washington DC years ago, and for the price you pay it’s pretty darn good. The gimmick is that you can choose any of 15 toppings for free …mayo, relish, onions, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, fried onions, sauteed mushrooms, ketchup, mustard, Jalapeno peppers, green peppers, A-1 sauce, Bar-B-Q sauce and hot sauce. And get your fries regular or Cajun. Enjoy the food, and don’t mind the grease leaking through the paper bag, it’s all good!
