First Wednesday Forest Grove on March 4th

– Wednesday, March 4th: Re-Boot, a resources & encouragement fair for families and individuals. The evening will cover such topics as Internet job-hunting, cooking on a budget, bargain shopping secrets, community employment services, stress management strategies, and updating your resume. Free, 6:00pm – 8:30pm

First Thursday Portland, downtown and the Pearl district

US Barista Championship, Oregon Convention Center, Thursday March 5th – Sunday March 8th, free to watch

Children’s Museum First Friday free Admission from 5:00pm -8:00pm on Friday, March 6th

Haggen Spring and Easter Food Show, Saturday, March 7th from 11:00am – 4:00pm, free samples at all stores

– Free 8oz cups of French Press coffee from 9am-10am @ all Stumptown Coffee Cafes every Monday until tax day

– Tuesday, March 9th: $2 admission per person at the Oregon Zoo (show your bus pass or validated ticket and get $1 off!)

Regional Spelling Bee, 10am @ the Hollywood Theater, bring some can food donations and cheer em on on Saturday, March 14th

Portland Urban Iditarod, Saturday, March 14th, free to watch or $50 to field a team & participate

– Sunday, March 22nd: free admission for all at the Portland Art Museum

– the monthly Ground Kontrol Classic Arcade Free Play Party is Wednesday, March 25th from 5pm – close, $5

– Get a free Redbox every Wednesday in March just by reading their blog and getting the free rental code
