Here are your best bet cheapo highlights for the week of Monday, July 13th – Thursday, July 16th:

    Portland Center Stage JAW: A Playwrights Festival is a free developmental festival of new work for the stage. Seats are first-come, first-served. Shows are at 6:00pm this Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Armory in the Pearl District.

    – Today, Monday July 13th is the last day to take advantage of Restaurant.com’s promotion to get $25 gift certificates for $3. Just use promo code ‘SEVENTY’ upon check-out to score this deal.

    – Oregon Zoo $2 Second Tuesdays: admission is just $2 for all this Tuesday, July 14th at the Oregon Zoo. Show your MAX/bus ticket or pass and save an additional $1.

    Wienerschnitzel is giving away a free original chili dog or small ice cream cone on Tuesday, July 14th from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. At this time, the only location in the area is up in Vancouver, WA at 8601 NE Andresen Road, just off of I-205.

    – Free samples of Ben & Jerry’s new ice cream treat Flipped Out will be given out on Wednesday, July 15th at Pioneer Courthouse Square.

    – Free movie screening of ‘Food, Inc.‘ on Wednesday, July 15th at Cinema 21. The screening starts at 7:30pm, but seats are first-come, first-served. Please note that PGE Park will be hosting the 2009 Triple A All-Star game so area parking will be a challenge.

    – Wednesday is also your last day to enter our drawing for two NW Film Center Tickets. Just email your name with subject line “NW Film” and we will randomly select from all entries and announce the winner on our next post this Thursday.

    Ignite Portland 6 occurs this Thursday, July 16th at the McMenamins Bagdad Theater. Free admission, starts at 7:00pm but get there early, doors open at 5:30pm.
