– Dr. Martin Luther King events all week listed at the Portland Tribune
– 25th silver anniversary “Keep Alive the Dream” tribute to Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 11:00am – 6:00pm at Highland Christian Center with artists displays, vendor bazaar, special food court, musical performances and guest speakers. Free.

– The Tualatin Library hosts Portland author Peter Rock for his book “My Abandonment,” at 7:00pm, free. Attend this book reading and discussion regarding the discovery and disappearance of the father and his daughter that were found a couple years ago living in Forest Park.

Thursday, January 21st:
– Portland Community College Brown Bag Lunch & Learn series at the downtown Multnomah County Library, 12:00pm. Today’s topic is “Global Concerns, Grassroots Solutions.”
