– Cedar Mill Community Library Giant Book and Media Sale, Friday – Monday, see web site for hours. Offers thousands of gently used Books, CDs, Books on Tape, VHS and DVDs for sale.
– Saturday is “Take Your Child to a Bookstore Day;” participating local bookstores include Annie Blooms Books, Murder by the Book, Broadway Books and Second Glance Books.
– Book Sale Benefit (pdf) for Baltimore Woods at Cathedral Park Place, 6635 North Baltimore, Saturday from 10:00am – 6:00pm. Book prices begin at $1 and there will be local crafts, live music, story telling and more.
– Bank of America’s Museums on Us program offers free admission to the Portland Art Museum, Pittock Mansion and the Lan Su Chinese Garden this Saturday and Sunday. To qualify for Museums on Us, customers must present their Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card along with a photo ID to gain free general admission.
– NW Dance Theatre Presents “Excerpts from a Nutcracker Tea” 12:00pm on Saturday at the Tualatin Library. The free performance features costumes, stories and an introduction to dance.
– Friends of the Tualatin Library Holiday Used Book Sale, 9:00am – 4:00pm Saturday at the Tualatin Public Library.
