– Free: Powell’s book event with author Chad Kultgen and his new book “The Average American Marriage,” 7:30pm at Powell’s Books on Burnside.
– Free: Kelly’s Olympian 111th birthday celebration features fifteen bands over Friday and Saturday nights.

– Free: 5th annual Zwickelmania, 11:00am – 4:00pm at breweries all around the state. This event offers visitors a chance to tour Oregon breweries, meet the brewers and sample their favorite beers.
– Free: Tax assistance from AARP volunteers, every Saturday at the Tualatin Public Library. Appointments can be made in person or over the phone at (503) 691-3072.
– $11 per family or $6 per adult: Winter birds at Smith and Bybee Wetlands, 10:00am – 12:30pm at Smith and Bybee Wetlands Natural Area. Registration and payment required in advance, please see web site for more information.
– Free: Tears of Joy Theatre bilingual show “Papagayo,” 2:00pm – 2:30pm at the Multnomah County Central Library. Free tickets available 30 minutes in advance.
– Free: Library program “Stress Reduction, Your Health & Mindfulness,” 2:00pm – 3:00pm at the Hillsboro Main Library.
– Free: Geocaching Basics 101 workshop, 2:00pm – 5:00pm at the Tualatin Public Library Meeting Room.
– Free: Library program “We Speak Your Language: Answering Your Tax Questions,” 3:00pm – 4:30pm at the Rockwood Library.
– Free: McMinnville Downtown Association Third Saturday Art and Wine Walk, 4:00pm – 8:00pm.
– Free: Love of Portland Art Opening, 5:00pm – 9:00pm on the 3rd floor of the Pioneer Place Mall. The show features over 75 artist.
– Free: MC Hammered Klavier presents a chamber music concert at Community Music Center, starting at 8:00pm and lasting for exactly one hour.

– Free: Lunar New Year Celebration at the Midland Library, 2:00pm – 3:00pm. Celebrate the Lunar New Year traditions of China and Vietnam with a traditional lion dance, music, games, food and crafts!
– Free: Special screening of Downton Abbey Season 3 finale, 6:00pm at the Cedar Mill Library. Watch it hours before the official air time! Tea and treats will be provided. Formal dress enthusiastically encouraged.

– Free: Second Edition Annual Winter Clearance Sale at the Cedar Mill Library; Friday save 75% off and on Saturday buy a bag for just $7 and fill it up!
23rd Cascade Festival of African Films screens the film “Microphone” at the Hollywood Theater 7:00pm on Friday, and the film “Tey” at the PCC Cascade Campus 7:30pm on Saturday. All films are free and open to the public on a first-come, first-seated basis.
– Free: Oregon Historical Society admission is free all day on Thursday for Oregon Statehood Day and from 11:00am – 3:00pm on Saturday for Community Day.
