– Free: Tax preparation assistance, listings by county courtesy of CASH Oregon.
– Free – donation request: Hoyt Arboretum Friends (HAF) celebrates its fourth annual Arbor Month with a variety of tours, classes and presentations to introduce people to the beauty of this urban green space and the important conservation work they do at Hoyt Arboretum.
– Free: Bank of America’s Museums on Us program offers free admission to the Portland Art Museum, the Portland Children’s Museum and the Japanese Garden on Saturday April 4th and Sunday April 5th. To qualify for Museums on Us, customers must present their Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card along with a photo ID to gain free general admission.
– $7 admission: PIR Auto Swap Meet, Thursday April 9th – Saturday April 11th.
– Free: Icelandair scavenger hunt prize giveaways, Friday April 10th – Sunday April 12th.
– Free: Art of the Story: 11th Annual Storytelling Festival, Saturday April 11th – Saturday April 18th.
– Free: Just Between Friends consignment sale, Thursday April 23rd – Saturday April 25th at the Portland Expo Center.
– Free: Friends of the Hillsboro Library bi-annual book sale, Friday April 24th – Sunday, May 3rd.

Wednesday, April 1st:
– Free: Cash & Carry Smart Foodservice new store grand opening celebration with giveaways, samples, demos and more. New store located near the Pearl district.

Thursday, April 2nd:
– Free: First Thursday Urban Adventure Run, 6:00pm – 7:00pm in downtown’s Pearl district area.

Friday, April 3rd:
– Free (first 500 only): 21st annual Spring Beer & Wine Fest at the Oregon Convention Center, 12:00pm – 10:00pm.

Saturday, April 4th:
– $5 adult admission: NW’s Largest Garage Sale and Vintage Sale, 8:00am – 5:00pm at the Portland Expo Center.
– Free: Portland Wind Symphony concert, 7:00pm at PSU’s Lincoln Performance Hall.

Sunday, April 5th:
– $2: OMSI first Sunday event offers general admission to all for only $2.
– Free: Easter Egg Hunt & Mimosas at the Armory beginning at 12:00pm. Come for the prizes, stay for the show! The People’s Republic of Portland is at 2:00pm followed by the Pay What You Will night for Cyrano at 7:30pm.

Tuesday, April 7th:
– Free: Hillsboro First Tuesday opening exhibits, 5:00pm – 6:30pm in downtown Hillsboro. Check it out at the Glenn & Viola Walters Cultural Arts Center and the Sequoia Gallery + Studios.

Saturday, April 11th:
– Free: International TableTop Day, celebrating tabletop games all over Portland at local libraries, Powell’s book stores and more. Please see web site for locations.
– Free: Washington County Museum Free Family Day, 10:00am – 1:00pm.
– Free: 35th Annual Trillium Lily Festival & Native and Hardy Plant Sale, 10:00am – 4:00pm at Tryon Creek State Park.
– Free: Beaverton “Fun Over 50″ Fair, 1:30pm – 4:00pm at Beaverton’s Elsie Stuhr Center.

Sunday, April 12th:
– Free: 35th Annual Trillium Lily Festival & Native and Hardy Plant Sale, 10:00am – 4:00pm at Tryon Creek State Park.

Monday, April 13th:
– Free: PCPA Noontime Showcase presents the Jefferson Dancers, 12:00pm at Antoinette Hatfield Hall.

Tuesday, April 14th:
– $4: Oregon Zoo second Tuesday offers $4 admission for all. Ride public transit, show proof of fare and receive an additional $1.50 off.
– Free: Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day, 12:00pm – 8:00pm.

Saturday, April 18th:
– Free: Friends of the Multnomah County Library Spring Used Book Sale 2015, 9:00am – 6:00pm at Gresham Station Shopping Center.

Sunday, April 19th:
– Free: Friends of the Multnomah County Library Spring Used Book Sale 2015 50% off discount day, 10:00am – 4:00pm at Gresham Station Shopping Center.

Wednesday, April 22nd:
Free: Beaverton Wind Ensemble concert, 7:00pm at Beaverton City Library Auditorium.

Friday, April 24th:
– Free: Portland Art Museum Free Fourth Friday, admission is free for everyone from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.

Saturday, April 25th:
– Free: Alder Creek 23rd annual Spring Paddle Festival at Vancouver lake, 9:00am – 4:00pm.
– Free: Portland Earth Day celebration, 10:00am – 5:00pm at Normandale Park.
– Free: 3rd Annual Jantzen Beach Jamboree, 4:00pm – 7:00pm with free food, free music and free beer.

Sunday, April 26th:
– Free: Alder Creek 23rd annual Spring Paddle Festival at Vancouver lake, 9:00am – 4:00pm.
– Free: 8th annual 82nd Avenue of Roses Parade, 9:30am – 12:00pm at Eastport Plaza.
